Selon l\u2019Organisation mondiale du tourisme (OMT), le nombre de vacanciers internationaux a atteint <strong>1,4 milliard en 2024<\/strong>, soit une augmentation de <strong>11 % par rapport \u00e0 2023<\/strong>. Cette reprise marque la fin d\u2019une crise historique provoqu\u00e9e par la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19, qui avait paralys\u00e9 les voyages internationaux et r\u00e9duit le tourisme de 90 % en 2020. Pourtant, cette dynamique n\u2019est pas uniforme : certaines destinations affichent des progressions impressionnantes, tandis que d\u2019autres peinent encore \u00e0 retrouver leur attractivit\u00e9. Cette croissance cache d\u2019importantes disparit\u00e9s entre les zones g\u00e9ographiques, les types de destinations et les politiques touristiques mises en \u0153uvre par les diff\u00e9rents pays.<\/p>\n<h2>Une reprise mondiale in\u00e9gale<\/h2>\n<p>En 2024, l\u2019Europe est rest\u00e9e la<strong> premi\u00e8re destination touristique mondiale<\/strong> avec 747 millions de visiteurs, repr\u00e9sentant plus de la moiti\u00e9 des vacanciers internationaux. N\u00e9anmoins, sa croissance est modeste (+1 % par rapport \u00e0 2019).
